Buying a home in Spain

Brochures and pretty pictures are great, the web is useful but if you are seriously looking for villas for sale on the Costa del Sol or the Costa Blanca, then at some stage you have to physically go and view the locations and property for sale in Spain for yourself, there is no other safer option to do it.

We are comprehensive and completely informative in all aspects of the procedure of property purchase in Spain. Once a customer finds the property of their dream and agrees on the price, a reservation and purchase contract is drawn by our contracts team in the office. Details on the property together with the details of the purchaser are added to these contracts, as well as payment and completion dates. Every step of this procedure is explained in full with the purchaser knowing and understanding every detail. It’s off to the solicitors, not a fiscal representative, but an official solicitor, registered to the law society of Spain. Once the legalities of the purchase have been explained in full, the customer pays a holding deposit to the solicitor to take the property off the open market. Next a Spanish bank account is opened by the customer and if they so desire, an introduction is made to a professional currency company who will be able to fix exchange rates between your currency to Euros, this can also be done over a period of time, know as a forward.
